Pricing and quotes
A word on how the money side works before you ring, because it is the most common worry and the simplest to settle.
What does a call out actually cost?
Nothing. The call out fee is $0, and the assessment and quote cost nothing either, so you only ever pay for work you have approved in writing.
How does fixed pricing work?
Your plumber inspects the job, runs whatever diagnosis it genuinely needs, then hands you a single fixed written price covering the complete fix before any work begins. The price quoted is the price you pay, with no overtime rates for nights or weekends.
How does payment work?
Card, cash and payment plans are all accepted, and everything is settled against the fixed written price you approved. There are no hourly meters running and no added extras afterwards.

Availability and emergencies
Phones are answered around the clock, but not every fault needs the same urgency, so here is how to judge it.
Do you answer the phone at 2am?
Yes. A licensed plumber, not an answering machine, answers day or night, including weekends and public holidays, and we will tell you honestly when we can realistically reach you.
What counts as a plumbing emergency?
A burst pipe flooding a room, a toilet overflowing, a gas smell or a sudden hot water failure all qualify. Emergency plumbing covers the full list, with immediate make-safe steps for each situation, so you know what to do while the van is on its way.

Licensing, warranty and trust
The credentials question comes up on nearly every first call, and it should. Here is what sits behind the work.
Are your plumbers licensed and insured?
Every plumber on the team is fully licensed and insured, working under licence #275278C, and your compliance certificates arrive with the invoice without you needing to ask.
What does the Lifetime Labour Warranty cover?
It covers workmanship for life. If something we completed is not right, we come back and make it right. No questions, no cost.

Services and the local area
The last band covers what we actually do and why the local housing stock changes the answers, because a ridge suburb of Federation homes and brick-veneer builds does not plumbing like a newer estate.
Which services do you handle?
Everything from dripping taps and toilet repairs to full drainage work, hot water systems, gas and leak detection. The general plumbing range is the broadest place to start, and each category hub lists every service in detail.
Why do drains block so often around Thornleigh?
Mature trees along the bushland-edge streets near Larool and Waitara Creeks send roots into ageing lines, and the pre-war homes near the station still run original earthenware clay pipes that crack and misalign. Where a blockage keeps returning, a camera inspection shows the real cause rather than guessing.
Should I repair or replace my hot water system?
Faulty elements, thermostats and relief valves are worth repairing, while a corroded or leaking tank needs replacing. Many long-held, owner-occupied homes here run old units well past their service life, so age matters as much as the fault. Our hot water team sizes and prices both paths before you decide.
Can you fix low water pressure in an older house?
Yes. Corroding galvanised steel supply pipes throttle flow in many pre-war and mid-century homes, and we renew those runs in copper or approved modern alternatives.
Which areas around Thornleigh do you cover?
Normanhurst, Pennant Hills, Westleigh, Hornsby and Wahroonga, with the same fixed-price approach and crews who work these streets daily. See the full service areas listing for details on each.
